Marie W. Powers

Marie has worked with The New York City Board of Education, and as a real estate broker with William B. May.  She received her BA from Marymount College and her MA from Columbia University.  In addition to serving on the Board of CBSBB, Marie’s civic and charitable associations include: Former Member of the Board of Trustees of Marymount College; Chair of Fiesta Ball & other committees of Casita Maria; Member & Former Chair of several committees of the Junior League of the City of NY; Volunteer and Eucharistic Minister at Memorial Sloan Kettering; Executive Member & Former President of Buck Hill Falls Women’s Golf Club (Pa.); Executive Committee Member and Former President of Auxiliary at St. Vincent’s Hospital; and Former Member of Board of NY Ear & Ear Infirmary.  Marie is also a member of the Dames of Malta, City Gardens Club, Colony Club, and the Doubles Club.  Marie and her late husband, William, have two sons.
