Child in Need
Ø Sports Buddies can help a child (boy/girl) between 7-17 years of age
Ø Child and parent(s) complete an application and interview to be properly serviced and screened
Ø After this process, a child is matched with a volunteer mentor
Ø The volunteer mentor becomes a positive role model in the child’s life
Ø These mentors serve as friends and confidants
Ø In today’s challenging world, children need support and positive direction. This is a“goal” of SBNYSports Buddies brings a healthy approach to a child’s needs through sporting activities that involve life experiences and day-to-day issues.
