CBSBB Mentoring Program

The Catholic Big Sisters and Big Brothers Mentoring Program matches volunteers with children in orderto develop relationships that are supportive, educational and fun!The volunteers help the young girls/boys develop skills through rolemodeling, exploring, participating in activities and developingtrusting relationships. Together, they can explore what New York City has to offer – visit museums, eat new kinds of food, readbooks, watch movies, explore neighborhoods, etc. These matches provide girls/boys ages 7-21, with caring adults in their lives. We ask that both the volunteer and child give at least one year to the match relationship.
