Do you have to be a certain age to join Catholic Big Sisters Big Brothers?

Our mentoring program works with
children, ages 7-21. Our skill based after school programs serve
boys and girls, ages 13+. Our counseling unit serves children and
caregivers of all ages.

Do you only serve families on the Lower East Side?

Our agency is community based and originally served families primarily in downtown Manhattan; however, over the past few years we have expanded our programs and now serve families from all 5 boroughs.

How do people hear about your agency?

Most of our families learn about CBSBB by word of mouth. We also work closely with community agencies and schools to offer counseling to their families and engage the students in our after school programs. Our mentoring program is extremely popular and attracts families from many different referral sources.
