CBSBB Counseling

What makes the mentoring program at The Catholic Big Sisters and Big Brothers so unique is that we offer comprehensive services to the families; that is, we provide wrap-around services that helps our mentoring matches remain healthy and strong.

The staff at CBSBB has received training on family systems therapy from experts at The Ackerman Institute for the Family and The Minuchin Institute.  This has enabled staff to provide a range of high level interventions and techniques with their clients.

CBSBB provides free individual, group and family counseling to boys, girls and their families. Our counseling staff is bilingual and culturally competent to deal with issues facing our predominantly minority client base.
